Technique

This class is open for any dancer or high performing athlete who desires a stronger foundation in their flexibility, strength, and of course, dance abilities. The class is designed to develop fitness, and technical skills, getting dancers to be the most confident version of themselves. There is always room to go back to the foundations, no matter how long you have been doing the sport, as we can always learn something new.

Dancers have the option to attend either the Tuesday or Thursday class, or even both. You do not need to be taking one of our classes in order to attend these lessons.

There is also the option to do drop in classes, or take a package. Please contact us for more information on this class.

Why dance with us?

We are a community

We are a community of individuals who come from all walks of life. At Kingdom Dancers in addition to our love for dance, we are passionate about supporting and caring for one another like a family. We are built on faith, trust and respect.

We are a safe space

We are a safe space for anyone feeling lost or out of place. We create a warm and comforting environment where our dancers are free to express themselves through movement when words just aren’t enough. We invite anyone to join our family and find rest in God’s love, expressed through our music, dancing and love for each other.

We are creative

We are creative in how we use our God-given gifts and talents to bring glory to Him. Dance is an art form, and by listening to God as He speaks to us, we create art that is pleasing to Him. This means that every move we make has a meaning and a purpose.

Principles we stand on

The ethos of the school is aligned with God’s Word. At Kingdom Dancers we:

Respect each other:

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
Romans 12:10

Work as a team:

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”
1 Corinthians 12:26

We are not jealous of each other:

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves”
Philippians 2:3

Uplift each other:

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

Work diligently:

“Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor”
Proverbs 12:24

Glorify Him:

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16

Worship Him:

“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
Psalms 100:2

&

“praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe”
Psalms 150:4
